Constance (Connie) Boyd
is a long-time resident of Cobalt..
While growing up in northern Ontario, she was greatly influenced
by her native roots. As a self-identified Métis
(of French, Ojibway and Irish descent) she has spent
over 30 years involved in many community groups,
native women's issues and spearheaded several
Métis community-based projects.
She's had a keen interest in the arts from a young age
and eventually took up painting on canvas.
She is mostly inspired by the local natural
landscape and its rich colours.
Constance is also a singer, musician and owner
of The Silver Moccasin.
